Connect BEACON to any AI platform
Use BEACON's AI Visibility data inside ChatGPT, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Google Vertex AI, Claude Desktop, and any MCP or REST-compatible client.
Add BEACON as a custom Action inside any ChatGPT GPT. Users can ask “What is boAt's AI visibility score?” directly inside the GPT.

Get your BEACON API key
Go to usebeacon.in/dashboard → Settings → API Keys → Create key. Copy the key (it starts with
bk_live_).2
Open the GPT builder
Go to chatgpt.com → top-left menu → My GPTs → Create a GPT (or edit an existing one).

Add a new Action
In the GPT builder → Configure tab → scroll to Actions → click Create new action.

Import the BEACON spec
Click Import from URL and paste the spec URL above. The GPT builder will auto-populate all 3 endpoints:
getVisibilityReport, getCategoryIntelligence, getAuditHistory.5
Configure authentication
Under Authentication → select API Key → Bearer. Paste your
bk_live_... key. Auth type: Bearer (not Basic).6
Set the GPT instructions
In the Instructions field, add:
When asked about a brand's AI visibility, performance on AI platforms, or AI search presence, call getVisibilityReport with the brand's domain. When asked about competitors or category rank, call getCategoryIntelligence. Always lead with the overall_score and top_insight in your response.

Save and test
Click Save. In the GPT preview, type:The GPT calls

getVisibilityReport and renders the result inline.Privacy note: Set your GPT to Only me or Anyone with the link depending on whether this is internal or public. The BEACON API key is stored securely by OpenAI and never exposed to users.
