Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of BEACON AI ("the Service") operated at usebeacon.in. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

BEACON AI is an Agent Engine Optimization (AEO) platform that measures brand visibility across AI systems, returns an AI Visibility Score™, and generates structured files (agent.json, llms.txt) to improve AI discoverability. The Service is provided on an as-is basis and subject to change as the product evolves.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person; bulk or automated account creation is prohibited.

3. Credits and payments

Running an audit consumes one credit from your balance. Credits are purchased in packs via Razorpay. Credits are non-refundable once consumed. Unused credits do not expire. If you believe a credit was consumed due to a technical error on our part, contact us within 7 days and we will review and restore it at our discretion.

New accounts receive a small credit allowance for evaluation purposes. We may change credit pricing and free allowances at any time with reasonable notice.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Audit brands you do not own or have no legitimate business interest in
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service or its outputs without written permission
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit checks, or authentication
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Generate AI queries designed to manipulate, deceive, or harm AI systems or third parties

5. Intellectual property

The AI Visibility Score™, BEACON AI brand, and the agent.json schema are owned by BEACON AI. The audit reports generated for your brand are yours to use. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process your audit data to provide the Service.

6. Third-party AI platforms

Audit results depend on responses from third-party AI APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, xAI). We do not control these platforms and cannot guarantee their availability, accuracy, or consistency. Score changes may reflect model updates by these platforms, not changes to your brand.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

AI Visibility Scores are measurement outputs, not guarantees of business outcomes. We make no representations that improving your score will result in specific commercial results.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify you by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, India.
